Make An Interesting Outdoor With Outdoor Lighting

Most people like to relax outdoors after a hard days work. Even I like to sit with a cup of coffee and flip through a glossy while my mind goes over the events of the day. Earlier I just had one bulb to light up my patio, but then it hardly provided enough light and at night when it is pitch dark it was hard to see your step

A well lighted outdoors is a welcome sight for guests for two reasons firstly it looks safe as everything can be clearly seen and secondly the exterior looks welcoming to the guests. Well lit outdoors are a welcome sight and people will love to visit such a house?

When I decide to decorate the outdoors of my house with outdoor lights I considered a few factors: Firstly the cost involved, then how many lights would be required, what kind of lights would I like to use that is their color, shape and size plus their output and how much wattage would they use.

I also went round the garden, patio and the yard to see how many points requires to be lighted. As I wanted a complete theme in my outdoors I spent considerable time planning the look. I wanted to use some up lights for the beautiful trees I had planted and also wanted to use down lighting to emphasize the bushes

I hate wires all over the garden, so I settled for solar outdoor lighting, it has several advantages over other lights, especially the fact that it saved me on electricity bills, such a boon in these times of recession.

I am quite concerned about the environment so solar outdoor lighting was indeed my first choice. The numerous choices available in lighting fixtures also made it easy for me to decide. Once I decide on the kind of lights I needed, I went over the patio and garden and checked all the spots that needed lighting.

I drew a map at marked the spots that needed brightening and also wrote down the kind of lights that would be required, e.g. when I wanted to highlight a beautiful Christmas tree I choose up lighting.

For a water body I settled for underwater lighting. I counted the number of light units I would require to completely light up the space and then I went online and ordered the units.

They gave me free shipping and even sent a person to fix up the lights. Today my outdoors is well lit up and I love entertaining my friends in my patio.

Decide on the shapes and patterns of the light fixtures once you have decided which parts you want to highlight in the outdoors.
